My name is Susana Stoyanova and I work with Luiza Teixeira de Freitas. I have also been involved in the Fortune Cookies Corner project, and therefore I start by apologizing for this late reply.
The project was supported by Luiza's publisher Taffimai, directly linked to the production of artist books, multiples, and special editions, whose main focus is to support independent productions and develop projects that cross different forms of thinking. As with the character of Rudyard Kipling who gives its name to this publisher, what moves us is discovery, curiosity, dialogue and art. Taffimai Janela (translation of Window) is born in parallel to the publishing project, using the Janela of LIMBO - a plant and ceramic store located in the heart of Madragoa district - as space for artistic creation in Lisbon. In this context, and using another available space at LIMBO, we embraced the Fortune Cookie Corner challenge."
